Main points:
  • MWX is a complete rewrite from MW.
  • MWX source code is not encrypted. MW source code is encrypted.
  • There is an overlap in features between MW and MWX. See table here for more feature comparison details.

    Free vs Paid (Pro license owners):
  • Freely downloadable versions of MW and MWX are for non-commercial, evaluation purposes only.
  • Pro license owners gets Pro license for both MW and MWX.
  • Free version of MW and MWX includes mandatory branding and sponsored backlinks from your site to other sites. This may or may not affect SEO score of your site in the eyes of Google.
  • Pro license owners do not have any sponsored backlinks.
  • Pro license owners have an ability to turn off branding backlins or have them as your own affiliate links at your choice. This helps you to monetize clicks on "Powered by MemberWing" links. Again - you may turn it off completely if you want.
  • I do not offer any support for Free license owners
    (although people seems to notice that I still do - this may or may not last for long)
